Which Cherokee County towns and Weiss Lake areas get delivery?
Cherokee County delivery covers Centre, Cedar Bluff, Leesburg, Gaylesville, Sand Rock and the county's share of Collinsville and Piedmont. Leesburg is about 19 miles from Gadsden, Centre 28 and Cedar Bluff 31. Weiss Lake camps on the north shore toward Gaylesville run a bit longer but still fit same-day.
Our Centre porta potty rental page covers the county seat. We also reach Rome, GA and Fort Payne from the same routes.
What should Weiss Lake lot owners know before a porta potty drop?
Weiss Lake covers about 30,000 acres with more than 450 miles of shoreline, and many camps sit on narrow gravel drives that slope toward the water. Set the unit on firm, level ground within about 30 feet of where the truck parks, well back from the bank and any dock.
Alabama Power built and manages the lake, so keep units on your own lot, not the shoreline strip. Low lots get soft after heavy rain; text a photo before delivery day.
Who handles sanitation and permit questions in Cherokee County?
Cherokee County sanitation questions go to the Cherokee County Health Department in Centre, whose environmental office answers at 256-927-7322. Zoning and permitting outside city limits go through the Cherokee County Commission at 256-927-3668. Inside Centre, the city's Building Department at City Hall handles permits.
Contacts are on the Cherokee County Health Department page. Crews on job sites also fall under OSHA ratios; see our OSHA guide.
Which Cherokee County events and jobs need portable toilets?
Cherokee County rentals follow the lake and the seasons. Crappie and bass tournaments launch from Weiss Lake ramps, Sand Rock Day brings crowds to Cherokee Rock Village each October, and fall and winter bring hunting camps. Lake cabin builds and remodels keep long-term units out year-round.
Tournament hosts should get ramp-site approval first and book 1 to 2 weeks ahead. See event porta potty rental for weekend drop and pickup timing.

Porta potty questions from Cherokee County renters
Can you bring a unit to a Weiss Lake fish camp for a tournament weekend?
Fish camps around Weiss Lake are on our regular US-411 routes. Book a Friday drop and Monday pickup, both covered by the flat event rate. Text a photo of the drive, since many camp roads are narrow gravel that slopes toward the water.
Do you deliver to Gaylesville and out toward the Georgia line?
Gaylesville and the roads toward the Georgia line are inside our 80-mile service area, which also covers Rome, GA. These are some of our longer Cherokee County runs, so same-day orders placed by noon may arrive later in the afternoon.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty on my Cherokee County land?
A portable toilet on private land usually needs no permit of its own, even on a long-term job. Zoning questions outside city limits go to the Cherokee County Commission. Sanitation questions go to the Cherokee County Health Department's environmental office in Centre at 256-927-7322.
Can I keep a unit at my hunting land all season?
Long-term rentals bill every 28 days and roll over until you call for pickup, with weekly service included. The truck needs to reach within about 30 feet of a level spot, so a spot near your gate or camp road works best.
